A picture frame message board 100, comprising: a frame having an outer perimeter 106, an inner perimeter 105, a window 107 defined by the inner perimeter and a front surface 101 having at least two adjacent ridges or ribs 103 defining at least one groove or channel 104, wherein the frame is arranged to hold and display a substantially planar item such as a photograph in the window, and the at least two ridges are adapted to receive and secure a substantially planar structure there between. The front surface may be uneven and may have a plurality of adjacent ridges defining a plurality of grooves. The picture frame message board may also comprise at least one tabbed object 200 which may be secured to the front surface via said grooves.
