A closure piece for a corner joint between two hollow profiled members, preferably window frame members, 60a, 60b, the piece comprising a base portion 10 having a surface for fitting against an end surface of a first frame member 60b and upstanding from the base portion, a first portion 30 shaped for reception in the hollow interior of the first frame member 60b. A second upstanding portion 40 is shaped for contact with a surface the first frame member 60b and the gap between the upstanding portions 30, 40 receives an end portion of the outer wall of the first profiled member 60b. The first and second upstanding portions have a bore for receiving a screw to secure the closure piece to the second frame member 60a. A third portion 50 may be received in a cavity in the second frame member 60a or a space between the first and second frame members. The base 10 may sit within a trough formed in the end of the first frame member 60b.
