PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a high-purity cupric oxide fine powder that has high purity in copper oxide and has solubility to a plating solution; a method of producing the cupric oxide fine powder; and a method of supplying a copper ion to a copper sulfate solution to be used for copper electrodeposition with the high-purity cupric oxide powder.;SOLUTION: In the method of producing the high-purity cupric oxide fine powder, cupric oxide coarse powder is pulverized which is obtained by heating flaky copper powder as a raw material. The method includes: a step of primarily heating the flaky copper powder in the presence of oxygen to obtain the cupric oxide coarse powder; a step of pulverizing the cupric oxide coarse powder to obtain a primarily heated cupric oxide fine powder; and a step of secondarily heating the primarily heated cupric oxide fine powder in the presence of oxygen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
