PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that is simple and superior in point of extremely wide enablement.SOLUTION: Mechanical vibration energy of a turbo machine blade 10 is first converted into electric energy. Subsequently, the generated electric energy is converted into heat loss. In a method for affecting mechanical vibration occurring during operation in the turbo machine blade, a piezoelectric effect is used for converting the mechanical vibration energy to the electric energy.
