PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a degreasing agent composition which maintains a hydrophilic or water-repellent coating agent to be applied for a long time after removing grease from the window pane or body surface of a car using the degreasing agent.;SOLUTION: In the method for applying the degreasing agent to the surface where the coating agent is to be applied for pretreatment, the degreasing agent is represented by Rn-Si-X4-n. In this formula, R is an alkyl group or a styryl group, and this alkyl group is a 1C-12C alkyl group containing 1 or 2 or more kinds selected from a group consisting of an epoxy group, a glycidoxy group, 3,4-epoxycyclohexyl group, primary amino group, secondary amino group, ureido group, chloro group and an isocyanate group; "n" is an integer of 1 to 3; X is a component A composed of a silane compound represented by a hydrolyzable group such as 1C-4C alkoxy group or a silane compound composed of 1 to 2 or more kinds selected from the group consisting of a partial hydrolyzate or partial condensate of the silane compound, and a component B of a solvent containing a range of 0.01 to 30 mass% of the component A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
