PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composite for a secondary battery electrode capable of providing a secondary battery having excellent adhesion to a collector, and excellent charge-discharge cycle characteristics even under high-temperature conditions and low-temperature conditions.SOLUTION: A binder composite for a secondary battery electrode in accordance with the present invention contains (A) 100 pts.mass (in solid content) of at least one kind of aqueous polymer dispersion selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene copolymer latex and acrylic emulsions, and (B) 1 to 20 pts.mass of at least one kind of compound having a cloud point of 70°C or lower and selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether derivatives, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene condensate, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene alkyl ether derivatives, and poly-N-isopropyl acrylamide.
