PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight in-furnace temperature measuring device that can elongate the service life of sensor protecting pipes.;SOLUTION: An in-furnace temperature measuring device 1 for furnaces in which gas is generated comprises a supporting pipe 3 continuous to a measuring hole 2A communicating with the furnace inside; a sensor protecting pipe 4 inserted into the supporting pipe 3 to be shiftable in the axial direction with its tip directed toward the furnace; a plurality of seal rings 6A and 6B that provide airtight sealing of a gap between the supporting pipe 3 and the sensor protecting pipe 4 and are so arranged with spacing as to divide the gap into a plurality of spatial parts in the axial direction; a temperature sensor 5 so housed within the sensor protecting pipe 4 that the temperature-sensitive part meets the tip of the protecting pipe 4; and a drive mechanism 7 that so drives the tip of the sensor protecting pipe 4 as to permit moving back and forth in the axial direction from the measuring hole 2A toward the furnace inside while maintaining the state of sealing by the seal rings 6A and 6B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
