The apparatus includes: selection means 31 for selecting one of language identification information; reading means 31 for reading each of the plurality of character string identification information described in the computer file and the character string data associated with the selected language identification information from a localized file stored on a second storage medium 34; and rewriting means 31 for rewriting each of the plurality of character string data described in the computer file to the character string data read out based on the character string identification information with which each of the character string data is associated and the selected language identification information.
