PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product excellent in color-deepening properties and resistance to washing thereof without impairing the feeling and strength of the fiber product by a few steps without using water. PSOLUTION: The color-deepening method of the fiber product includes: forming a gas into a plasma by glow discharge or arc discharge in the atmosphere of nitrogen or air under atmospheric pressure, forming a composite plasma gas by mixing a silicon compound in combination with a carrier gas, with the plasma gas in a gas state, and carrying out a plasma treatment by irradiating the colored fiber product 20 with the composite plasma gas to form a film of silicon oxide B on the surface of the fiber product. The silicon compound is a compound containing one or two atoms of the silicon in one molecule, and the plasma treatment is carried out in the atmosphere containing the silicon compound in an amount regulated so that the amount of the silicon per 1 mSP2/SPof the plasma treatment area may be not less than 20 mmol and not more than 120 mmol.
