PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power source switching method and an electric power source switching device, which reduce the number of discharging and charging of a second battery and suppresses the deterioration of the secondary battery due to the charging and the discharging.;SOLUTION: An electric power source switching device has: a solar battery (1) converting light energy into electric energy; a secondary battery (3) charging the electric energy of the solar battery; processing blocks (45a to 45e) connecting with the solar battery or the secondary battery and performing specified processing, electric power detecting means (44) detecting electric power that the solar battery can output; and an electric power source switching means (41) which connects the solar battery with the processing blocks when the electric power detected by the electric power detecting means is larger than a maximum electric power consumption of the specified processing and connects the secondary battery with the processing blocks when the electric power detected by the electric power detecting means is smaller than the maximum electric power consumption of the specified processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
