PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic capable of being advantageously used in a laminated ceramic electronic part having an extremely thin ceramic layer having a thickness of 1 μm or less, and its manufacturing method. PSOLUTION: This dielectric ceramic is obtained by firing a powder of barium titanate having an average particle diameter of 10-90 nm and a mass change rate of 0.1-0.5% at 600-900°C.
