PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor of NbSn superconducting wire material which is excellent in critical current and AC loss, and has a magnetic stability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the precursor of NbSn superconducting wire material, a NbSn superconducting wire material, and a superconducting magnet system.SOLUTION: The precursor of NbSn superconducting wire material according to the invention is NbSn wire material's precursor manufactured by internal diffusion. The precursor comprises a plurality of Nb-based cores coated with Cu-based matrix, and a plurality of Sn-based cores coated with Cu-based matrix, which are regularly disposed in a cylindrical diffusion barrier of Ta or Nb. In the precursor, two or more kinds of Nb-based single core wires which are different in the areal ratio of a Cu-based coating surrounding the Nb-based core are disposed.
