PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor wiring material for obtaining a NbSn superconducting wiring material which can be suitably used for manufacturing a NbSn superconducting multi-core wiring material according to an internal tin process, and allows the suppression of the increase in the magnetic susceptibility while keeping a high critical current density characteristic, and a NbSn superconducting multi-core wiring material arranged by using the precursor wiring material.SOLUTION: The precursor wiring material of a NbSn superconducting multi-core wiring material comprises: Nb filaments each having a Nb core and a Cu coating layer covering the Nb core throughout the entire periphery of the Nb core; and Sn filaments each having a Sn core, which are disposed to be in contact with each other. Further, the Nb filaments each has a high-electric resistance phase formation layer covering all or part of the outer periphery of the Nb core between the Nb core and the Cu coating layer. The high-electric resistance formation layer has a thickness of 0.05-0.4 m.
