PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind tunnel body having high wind collection effect, a vertical axis wind turbine having a small installation cost and superior in safety, quietness, and efficiency without requiring a dynamic wind direction control mechanism for coping with wind direction variation, and to provide a structure, a wind power generator, a hydraulic device, and a building.;SOLUTION: The wind tunnel body 120 includes a freely rotatably supported axial flow wind power turbine 101, a duct 102, and a cowl 103. The duct 102 is mounted so as to surround the periphery of the axial flow wind power turbine 101. The cowl 103 is mounted so as to surround the periphery of the duct 102. A rotary shaft 109 of the axial flow wind power turbine 101, a central axis of the duct 102, and a central axis of the cowl 103 are substantially coaxial in the substantial vertical direction. The vertical axis wind turbine 110 includes the wind tunnel body 120. The rotary shaft 109 is rotated by the axial flow wind power turbine 101 to convert wind power into power.
