PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate reading information representing the meanings for a wide variety of face marks.SOLUTION: A proportion acquisition section 261 compares, for each face mark registered in a face mark dictionary, the main parts with the parts of an input face mark to acquire a proportion of the same parts as the main parts in the whole of the input face mark. A similarity calculation section 262 calculates, based on the proportion, the similarity between the input face mark and a face mark registered in the face mark dictionary, and a reading estimation section 264 estimates, based on the similarity, the reading and accent of the input face mark from among the reading and accent of face marks registered in the face mark dictionary.
