PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine metal particulates having reduced particles in a flocculated state, and lying in a state of being independently dispersed, and to provide a metal colloid solution obtained by dispersing the metal particulates into a solvent.;SOLUTION: Disclosed is metal particulates having a phenol compound having three hydroxyl groups in one molecule and/or the oxidized body thereof, and alkanolamine on the surface, and a metal colloid solution obtained by dispersing the metal particulates into a solvent. Further, the metal particulates and metal colloid solution are produced by mixing a mixed solution of a phenol compound having hydroxyl groups in one molecule and alkanolamine with a metal compound solution, and reducing the mixture. As the phenol compound, at least one kind selected from gallic acid, pyrogallol and phloroglucinol is preferable, and, as the alkanolamine, at least one kind selected from monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine is preferable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
