PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workable range display device of a hydraulic shovel capable of displaying an appropriate workable range even when an attitude of a vehicle main body is inclined.;SOLUTION: In a workable range display device of a hydraulic shovel, a calculation section: sets a border line (84), between a workable range and a vehicle lower range, in a vertical direction in a global coordinate system when a vehicle main body is in a horizontal position; sets the border line (84) so as to maintain the vertical direction in the global coordinate system when the vehicle main body is anteriorly inclined; and corrects the border line (84) so that an angle between a ground surface (GL) where the vehicle main body is placed and the border line (84) is equal to or larger than 90 degrees when the vehicle main body is backwardly inclined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
