PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entirely novel river current/tidal current/marine current power generation device for generating power using a river current, tidal current and marine current.SOLUTION: The river current power generation device 1 includes a rotor 3 including a permanent magnet 2, a circular ring body 4 accommodating the rotor 3 in an approximately sealed manner and installed in a water current of a river, and a coil 5 wound around the circular ring body 4. A water current inlet port 8 and a water current outlet port 9 are formed at the circular ring body 4 so that a water current is circularly formed in the circular ring body 4. The rotor 3 circularly travels in the circular ring body 4 by the water current formed in the circular ring body 4 so that the permanent magnet 2 repeatedly passes in the coil 5, and the power is generated by the action of electromagnetic induction.
