PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soil-cultured vegetables and mushroom highly containing GABA and/or taurine, and to provide an extremely easy and simple and efficient method for producing the vegetables and mushroom. PSOLUTION: This method for producing the soil-cultured vegetables and mushroom which contain 10 mg/100 gFW or above of GABA and/or taurine comprises spraying a GABA and/or taurine aqueous solution of 0.2-2.0% (W/V) to vegetable leaves and/or stems and mushroom carpophores during soil-culturing, and making the vegetables and mushroom absorb GABA and/or taurine while keeping the adhesion condition of the sprayed aqueous solution.
