PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve evaluation accuracy when evaluating a design of a new product or an intermediate product before selling it, in an evaluator selection device and an evaluator selection method.;SOLUTION: An evaluation investigation device as an evaluator selection device has: a design-oriented visitor selection part 22 selecting a visitor who places value on a design among visitors to an exhibition space for a vehicle available for sale; a correlation determination part 28 determining correlation between interest level of the vehicle available for sale and observation behavior from the observation behavior to the vehicle available for sale of each design-oriented visitor and purchase behavior to the vehicle available for sale of each design-oriented visitor; a purchase probability estimation part 30 estimating interest level with respect to a latest model vehicle based on the correlation determined by the correlation determination part 28 and observation behavior to the new model vehicle as a new product for each evaluator, and estimating purchase probability; and an adopted evaluation selection part 32 selecting an adopted evaluation having the estimated interest level value not less than a preset threshold among the evaluators.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
