PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting lymph node metastasis which can inspect the presence or absence of the lymph node metastasis in lung cancer with higher accuracy, and to provide an apparatus for determining the lymph node metastasis and a computer program.SOLUTION: The method includes: obtaining amount of mRNA expression of stratifin contained in a measurement sample prepared by using a lymph node tissue taken from a lung cancer patient who is suspected to have the lymph node metastasis of lung cancer; and determining the metastasis of lung cancer in the lymph node tissue when the obtained mRNA expression amount of stratifin is overexpressed.
