PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam structure which can be adapted to girders with a variety of plate thicknesses and a working error of a beam, a building unit, a building, and a construction method for the beam structure.;SOLUTION: The beam structure C comprises the beam 15 which is laid between the girders 12 and 12, and gusset plates 2 and 2 for connecting both ends of the beam 15 and the girders 12 and 12 to each other, respectively. The beam 15 is axially formed so as to be extended and contracted in such a manner that beam members 15a and 15b having cross sections meshed with each other are meshed with each other in a mutually opposed state. The gusset plates 2 and 2 are equipped with binding support portions 22 for constraining the beam members 15a and 15b in the axial direction, and movement support portions 23 for supporting the beam members in an axially movable manner. The constraint support portion 22 of one of the gusset plates 2 and the movement support portion 23 of the other gusset plate 2 are mounted at both ends of the beam 15 in such a manner as to face each other.
