PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which wheat flour having high viscoelasticity can be produced in good efficiency, and simultaneously good taste rice having high additional value with high protein content and low calorie can be obtained. PSOLUTION: The transgenic rice plant cell is obtained by introducing a DNA encoding a high-molecular glutenin subunit and/or a low-molecular glutenin subunit of the wheat and stably expresses the glutenin subunit. The transgenic rice plant contains the transgenic rice plant cell. The seed, the cut spike or the fruit derived from the transgenic rice plant, and the rice derived from the transgenic rice plant or a processed product thereof are also provided.
