Provided are a change factor information data generation method and a signal processing device that enable a practical signal recovery. The change factor information data generation method generates the information data of a change factor that becomes a factor of the signal change in the original signal data in which a change such as degradation or the like has occurred. In the method, arbitrary change factor information data is set as initial change factor information data and generation processing is performed that generates new change factor information data different from the initial change factor information data. In the generation processing, the data value of central part constituting the new change factor information data is set to be large.
