PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base sequence determination method and a base sequence determination program, exhibiting a high determination accuracy and realizing the determination adapted to practical conditions.;SOLUTION: The method and the program are executed by using a chip cartridge 11 having a detection electrode and a control electrode; a measurement system 12 for measuring electric current; a liquid medicine feeding system 13 for feeding a liquid medicine containing a sample DNA to the chip cartridge 11; a control mechanism 15 for controlling the measurement system 12 and the liquid medicine feeding system 13; and a computer containing a current waveform determination module for receiving a detection signal from the detection electrode and a negative control signal from the control electrode as a current-voltage characteristic, determining whether the current-voltage characteristic is normal or abnormal, and excluding an abnormal detection signal from the computation object, and a peak current detection module for subtracting a background current from the current-voltage characteristic to acquire a true signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
