Antigens that induce neutralizing antibodies to high-risk group human papillomaviruses

[PROBLEMS] To provide an antigen which can be used against at least a high risk-type human papillomavirus (HPV) and which is a vaccine antigen having a higher type-commonality. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A capsid comprising an assembly of a chimeric protein having at least one L2 epitope selected from human papillomavirus L2 epitopes inserted to the loop site in human papillomavirus type 16 L1 protein; a chimeric protein having at least one L2 epitope selected from human papillomavirus L2 epitopes inserted to the loop site in human papillomavirus type 16 L1 protein; and a process for producing a capsid comprising an assembly of the chimeric protein, the process comprising assembling the chimeric protein to form the capsid.
