PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp inspection device and a lamp inspection method for a game machine, capable of carrying out the inspection of the lighting/blinking of lamps automatically, efficiently and with high reliability.;SOLUTION: Moving image data of a plurality of basic lighting patterns of a lamp group 23 captured by a photography device 2 before the inspection are registered and stored. Lamp lighting pattern signals composed of a combination of the plurality of basic lighting patterns are registered/stored in a storage device 19 in association with a lamp controlling command. When the lamps lighted/blinked based on the command generated during the inspection are photographed by the photography device 2, the moving image data output from the photography device 2 and the recorded image data on the basic lighting pattern among the lamp lighting patterns stored and read in the storage device 19 according to the command are compared to determine whether the lighting/blinking of the lamp group 23 is appropriate or not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
