Regenerating agent for the regeneration and prevention of lead-acid batteries filled with sulfuric acid contains 10 liters of 5 to 30% hydrogen peroxide, preferably 10 to 20% hydrogen peroxide, or 20% hydrogen peroxide, for solution: in the dry state, potassium pyrophosphate, potassium hydroxide, potassium sulfite, and potassium carbonate; 1 to 15 g of sodium pyrophosphate in the dry state; 5 to 15 g of sodium perborate in the dry state; 5 to 12 ml of 20 to 40% formaldehyde solution and / or 2 to 10 g of saccharide in dry matter. Further, the regenerating agent may contain potassium salts in the dry state in a preferred range, namely 1 to 2 g of potassium hydroxide; and / or 0.1 to 2 g of potassium sulphite; and / or 0.1 to 3 g of potassium carbonate in dry matter. Further, the regenerating agent may contain the sodium salts in the dry state in a preferred range, namely 1 to 10 g of sodium carbonate in the dry state; and / or 1-10 g of sodium sulfite in the dry state. In particular, for prevention, the regenerating agent may further contain 500 to 700% by volume of distilled water per 100% by volume of regenerative agent.
