STEPS IN BUSES AS PNEUMATIC LIFTER IN MOST EFFICIENT WAY

A bladder arrangement is setup under the steps of the vehicle. When normal people climb the steps the bladder compresses the air. The compressed air is stored in a reservoir. Similarly compressor in the bus also further compresses the air in the cylinder to attain the required pressure in air. Further this compressed air is used in actuating a piston which helps in rising the steps up and down for the physically challenged people. It could also be used to raise heavy load in to the vehicle. The main aim is utilizing the pneumatic power rather than hydraulic and electronic which are costly in most efficient way.
