A method to improve feeding of newly calved cows includes portionwise distribution of concentrated feeds in the course of a 24-hour cycle with an interval. In doing so feeding is carried out in cycles different by times. The total daily weight of a feed for cows with a milk productivity level from 16 to is set as that equal to 3.0-, each portion is fed in an amount from 0.5 to 6-8 times, and an interval is set from 2.5 to 3.0 hours.
