A plastic-steel winding pipe joint comprises a short plastic pipe (3a), a metal reinforcing ring (3b1) standing around the outer wall of the short plastic pipe and a short metal reinforcing pipe (3c) arranged within or inside the wall of the short plastic pipe. One end of the short plastic pipe is provided with an annular groove (322) along the width direction of the short pipe. The short metal reinforcing pipe is inserted in the annular groove to match with it. A plastic-steel winding pipe is provided with the joints at the ends of its pipe body. The end of winding metal reinforcing ribs (1b) of the pipe body extends to the end face of the metal reinforcing ring and is connected with the end face. The joint is simple in structure to ensure reliable sealing connection of the pipes without changing the diameter of the pipes. A method for manufacturing the plastic-steel winding pipe is also disclosed.
