Method of application of a layer of material on the inner wall of a tire for a cycle in the form of a torus comprising an inner wall and an outer wall, in which: - it returns the tire in order to bring the inner wall to the outside of the torus and the outer wall to the inside of the torus; - is placed in extension, the outer wall of the torus of the tire; - is applied to the layer of material on the inner wall of the tire; and - it returns the tire in order to bring the inner and outer walls in their initial positions.
