The present invention relates to a wheelchair chassis (1) which can be stored in a space-saving manner. More particularly, in a preferred embodiment, the wheelchair comprises anti-tip wheels (8) provided on curved support arms (9), which can be pivoted upward following the actuation of a lock mechanism (29,30,31,33). The support arms can be blocked in an up-ward, vertical position and the wheelchair can then be placed on the anti-tip wheels and the motorized wheels in a space-saving vertical position.
