A method for combining extension function of a cell phone with a home appliance is disclosed. The home appliance is equipped with a processor for interpreting bar code and wafer. The cell phone with the function of scanning bar code and inducting wafer content can obtain and read the food cooking information and cooking condition on the wrapping bag through the mode of scanning bar code and inducting wafer, wherein scanning the bar code on the wrapping bag by the camera in the cell phone, or inducting the wafer on the wrapping bag by the wafer sensor in the cell phone. Then the cell phone transmits the cooking information and cooking condition to the wafer on the home appliance to interpret and implement the cooking information.
