The invention relates to a moisture sorbing acrylic-based composition comprising an ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as main liquid component, and a metal perchlorate therein dissolved. Moreover, the invention relates to the use of said composition in order to obtain a moisture sorber material, to be inserted for example in electronic or optoelectronic devices.
