The invention relates to a sealing assembly (10) for sealing a ring gap between an opening edge (12) of an opening in a divided front wall (14) of a steam turbine housing and a turbine rotor (16) extending through the opening in an axial direction (A). In order to enable a reliable sealing function and relatively simple maintenance of the steam turbine, including the sealing assembly (10), according to the invention a sealing ring comprising a plurality of sealing ring segments (18-1, 18-2), which is adjustable at at least one point and which can be fixed at another point is provided, wherein a fixing device (28) comprises a fixing pin opening (40, 42) passing through the front wall (14) and a fixing pin (44) held therein having a fixing pin head (46) which engages in a fixing pin receptacle (48) formed on the sealing ring point to be fixed.
