PURPOSE: A multi-contact packing is provided to completely block the leakage of ultrahigh-pressure fluid by a compressive force generated in multiple contact portions.;CONSTITUTION: A multi-contact packing comprises a plurality of O-rings(10) which are overlapped and connected together to form an integral flange type multi-contact annular packing(100). A plurality of corrugations(16) are formed along the outermost contact surface of the packing. Contraction grooves(17) are formed in the contact lines where the O-rings are overlapped.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
