PURPOSE: A photocatalyst in the junction structure of titanium oxide and metal-doped tungsten oxide and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the activity of the photocatalyst in a visible light region. CONSTITUTION: Sodium tungstate and dihydrate(Na_2WO_42H_2O) are added in distilled water and are stirred. A solution which is obtained by adding and stirring metal salt with other distilled water, is added into the distilled water in order to obtain an amorphous metal toped tungsten oxide solution(MWO_4). A basic solution is added into the amorphous metal doped tungsten oxide solution to adjust pH values. A hydrothermal synthesizing process is implemented to obtain crystalline metal doped-tungsten oxide. The metal doped-tungsten oxide, an acid solution, and distilled water are added to and stirred with an alcohol solvent. Titanium alkoxide is additionally added and stirred. A drying process and a sintering process are followed.
