METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE USING A MOLDING FRAME WITH SUPERIOR DIMENSION PRECISION AND TRANSMISSIVITY FOR THE FORMATION OF AN OVERCLAD LAYER
PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an optical waveguide is provided to consider a light transmission characteristic by improving the dimension precision of a molding frame.;CONSTITUTION: A molding frame(20) for an overclad layer is made of a transmissive resin(20A). A frame member(40) is identical to the shape of the overclad layer. The deintercalation mark of the frame member is formed in the concave part(21) for forming the overclad layer. A photosensitive resin for the formation of the overclad layer is filled within the concave part of the molding frame. The photosensitive resin is exposed to light and becomes hardened while a patterned core is dipped in the surface of an underclad layer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
