PURPOSE: An address update method and apparatus thereof for transmitting a message of a communication terminal in outbound roaming are provided to enable an outbound roaming terminal to transmit a text message.;CONSTITUTION: A storing unit(220) stores address information of each message transmitting device about an outbound roaming terminal in a home network communication system. A communication unit(210) receives an address information update request corresponding to the location registration complete response according to the location registration of the outbound roaming terminal. An extracting unit(215) extracts address information about a message transmitting unit from the storing unit according to the address information update request.
