PURPOSE: A method for preventing the leakage of the exhaust gas of a food disposal machine is provided to prevent the overheat using the temperature of the exhaust passage and the temperature of a heater.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing the leakage of the exhaust gas of a food disposal machine comprises the following steps. The temperature of the exhaust passage(300) in which the exhaust gas which is generated by the heater(120) of a drying furnace(100) flows is measured. In case the temperature of the exhaust passage is over a first temperature, the heater is turned off. In case the temperature of the exhaust passage is under the first temperature, the temperature of the heater is measured.
