SHIP WITH TUNNEL THRUSTER AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING TUNNEL THRUSTER

PURPOSE: A ship with a tunnel thruster and a method for repairing a tunnel thruster are provided to save time and cost to repair a tunnel thruster by repairing the tunnel thruster on site. CONSTITUTION: A ship with a tunnel thruster comprises a tunnel thruster(15), water sealing covers(175,176), and a hatch(133). The tunnel thruster is installed in the tunnel(13) formed in a hull. The water sealing cover is coupled with both openings of the tunnel. The hatch is installed in a path(134) formed at the wall of the tunnel. An eye plate is installed in a part of the wall which is adjacent to the path. A recessed portion is formed in the part of the wall where the eye plate is installed. The eye plate is not projected to the inside of the tunnel.
