PURPOSE: An LED chip classification apparatus is provided to rapidly perform the operation of a pickup unit, thereby significantly improving classification speed of LED chips. CONSTITUTION: A sorting stage(310) loads a supply plate(311) and is able to be moved in every planar direction. The supply plate comprises an attachment sheep where LED chips are attached. An empty stage(410) is separately installed with respect to the sorting stage. The empty stage loads a classification plate for each grade. The empty stage is able to be moved in the every planar direction. A pickup unit(500) comprises a picker(530). The picker picks up the LED chip of the supply plate and puts the LED chip on the classification plate.
