PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for an earthquake-resistant rebar and an earthquake-resistant rebar manufactured thereby are provided to easily manufacture earthquake-resistant rebars having various diameters and desired yield strength.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for an earthquake-resistant rebar is as follows. A steel material, composed of Si 0.10-0.30 weight%, P 0.001-0.040 weight%, S 0.001-0.040 weight%, C 0.020-0.29 weight%, Mn 0.70-1.10 weight%, Fe and inevitable impurities, is heated at the temperature of 1000-1200 degrees. The heated steel material is hot rolled. The hot rolled steel material is water-cooled. The yield strength of the manufactured rebar is 400-520MPa, and the yield ratio is 70-80%.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
