PURPOSE: A strain with fumaric acid productivity and a method for preparing fumaric acid usign the same are provided to obtain fumaric acid under optimal culture condition.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a mutant strain of high productivity of fumaric acid comprises: a step of inducing mutation of the strain; a step of culturing the strain in a selection medium containing triton X-100 and bromocrezol purple to detect the strain; and a step of culturing the strain which produces fumaric acid and select strain which highly produces fumaric acid.
