PURPOSE: A device and a method for installing and removing a valve packing are provided to remarkably reduce the installing and removing time of a packing by simply removing the packing without the disassembling of a drive unit and a valve disk.;CONSTITUTION: A device for installing and removing a valve packing comprises multiple rods(350), ring-shaped supports(340), screws(370), and nuts(360). The ring-shaped supports are connected to the bottom ends of the rods. The screws are formed on the outer surface of the top of the rods. The nuts are coupled to the screws. Multiple packings(380) are loaded in the rods and are supported by the supports. Gland bushings(320) are arranged on the top of the packings.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
