PURPOSE: Yellow-emitting phosphors are provided to have wide light emitting spectrum, and light-emit in relatively long wavelength, thereby manufacturing white LED, which has higher color rendering index than existing one.;CONSTITUTION: A yellow-emitting phosphor is in chemical formula 1: CsCa_(1-x)(PO_4)_(1+y):Eu_x. In chemical formula 1, 0.0005 = x = 0.5, 0 = y = 0.5. A white LED comprises the yellow-emitting phosphors(4). The LED chips in the white LED have the luminescence center wavelength of 430-475 nm. The white LED additionally comprises one or more kinds of phosphors having luminescence center wavelength longer than the luminescence center wavelength of the LED chips, and shorter than the luminescence center wavelength of the yellow-emitting phosphors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
