PURPOSE: A robot system and control method thereof are provided to perform a collaboration function between heterogeneous robots by transmitting information for a simple or a composite command to one or more robots.;CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(120) stores a collaboration policy model including the collaboration role and a command system of a robot(200). The command system is composed of the composite command and the simple command. A communication unit(190) transmits information for a collaboration role and the simple or the composite command to the robot. A policy parser(130) analyzes the collaboration policy model stored in the storage unit.
