PURPOSE: A membrane containing a metal nano rod for a thin film transducer, a manufacturing method thereof, a thin film transducer using the same are provided to easily fix a large amount of probes to a thin film because the thin film has a high surface area. CONSTITUTION: A membrane containing a metal nano rod for a thin film transducer comprises a substrate(110) and a membrane(120). The membrane is separated from the substrate and comprises an insulation layer(122), a metal layer(121), and metal nano rods. The metal layer is loaded on the insulation layer. The metal nano rods are vertically arranged on the metal layer. Probes for detecting biologically active materials are fixed to the metal layer and the metal nano rods.
