PURPOSE: A water purifying tank for a water purifier is provided to prevent the introduction of suspended materials which are precipitated on the bottom of the water purifying tank and to discharge the precipitated suspended materials from the water purifying tank.;CONSTITUTION: The bottom(110) of a water purifying tank(100) is slanted. A water draining pipe connecting part(120) is formed at one side of the bottom. A drinking water pipe connecting part(140) is formed at another side of the bottom or at one lateral side(130) of the water purifying tank. A reverse current preventive protrusion(112) is formed on the bottom based on a plurality of protrusions(112a). A transparent window is formed at the lateral lower part of the water purifying tank which is adjacent to the bottom. A photo sensor is installed at the transparent window and measures the turbidity of water stored in the water purifying tank.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
